We would like to introduce you to a new organization we have recently created along with our friends at Iatric Systems and
Interbit Data. HITSE (Healthcare Information Technology and Solutions Exchange) is an ongoing series of conferences
aimed at bringing IT needs and potential solutions together.
We are pleased to announce that HITSE New England 2010 will take place on Tuesday, October 26 and Wednesday,
October 27 at the Doubletree Hotel in Westborough, MA. For more information, please visit us at www.hitse.org.
Over the past few months we have been reviewing the current and future needs of both hospital IT staff and the vendors
that support these needs. Having worked in HealthCare for more than 20 years now, we recognize that the tremendous
progress that has been made in IT is in part attributable to a strong history of collaboration. Through networking, problems
in one hospital have been solved through the experiences and research shared by people in other facilities. Vendors have
also helped clients meet needs by providing advancements in software, hardware and consulting services. In recent years,
however, due to shortages of time and money, conference participation has waned significantly. We believe the need for
learning and sharing solutions has never been greater.
HITSE's aim is to hold these conferences at venues in locations that will provide easy and affordable access for the
greatest number of people. While the goal is to eventually provide content that will benefit all hospitals, the first few
conferences will be best suited for people who support the information needs of Meditech facilities.
Online registration is now open on the HITSE website. We appreciate your interest, and look forward to seeing many of
